End of Year Countdown

Each day we have been opening an envelope to countdown the last few days of school. There has been a special treat inside for us each day. Today's treat was to go for a little play in the park next door. Mrs Gaskin read us a special story too. Here are some pictures of us playing. I wonder what will be next???
Also we have 2 Learning Hub library bags that don't have names on them. If you ordered one and are missing yours please let Miss Smith know.

What a wonderful day we had! Thank you so much to our amazing parent helpers and visitors. You were awesome! We were so lucky with the weather too.
There will be some very tired little people tonight ... and big people too!

Santa Letters

Today we went to the post office to post our letters to Santa! We made such a great job of them Miss Smith copied them so we could take a copy home to show our families. Look out for them coming home soon!
On the way back we saw Santa in the shop window.

Keep your fingers crossed for good weather for our trip tomorrow. We will need morning tea, a drink bottle, jackets, hats and sensible shoes!
Thank you to all the helpers who are coming with us or meeting us there!

Wiki

Today Chris brought Wiki in to meet Room 1. He is just a puppy and a show dog. We talked about how to keep ourselves safe around dogs and we asked a lot of questions about Wiki. Wiki liked all of us and wanted to give us kisses. He liked Jaeda and Genna the most. Wiki's name has all the letters from the word kiwi in it, even though he came from Australia. He flew on the plane by himself. He is a really cute dog.

Snake cake

Today Room 1 made a snake cake with our buddies. We have been reading a book about it this week and thought it would be neat to make our own.

Israel

Today Shaine's mum came in to talk to us about Israel. We heard a lot of interesting facts and even got to try some sweet treats from Israel.
Thank you (Toda) Revital
